I'm building my demos for some 2010 presentations I have coming up using Windows 7 as my dev environment.  So I have been digging around trying to find the how-to on configuring SharePoint 2010 on Windows 7.

You'll inevitably find a thousand people that will just copy and paste the technet article, but I'd much rather just link you there :)

Edit: BTW, if you are trying to install the Tech Preview on windows 7/Vista, it only works for Foundation Services, not for SharePoint Server.  Hopefully you don't burn through the 2 hours trying to get it installed like I did :)  The linked installation instructions work for installation of SharePoint Foundation Services.
